Sport Coat has been developed in conjunction with specialised sports contractors to meet the specific requirements of tennis and other sports pitches.
It retains the porosity needed to allow surface water to be absorbed, where no other means of drainage is possible and remains anti-slip.
Sport Coat is a spray applied water-based acrylic coating that is tough and long lasting and results in a porous and anti-slip surface.
Special adhesion promoters for tenacious adhesion to bituminous surfaces are included and it also contains algicide and fungicide.

Preparation:
All surfaces should be free from loose and flaking material, dirt and grease and vegative growth. Any debris may be removed by vacuum or pressure blasting with air or water.
Brushing (manual or by machine) may be suitable in particularly difficult areas, i.e. under trees or areas constantly in the shade. A tarmac binder should be used to stabilise a friable or porous concrete court or a fretting macadam tennis court.
Application:
Painting may be carried out by most industrial airless spray equipment. A tip size of 0.7mm & 45o angle is recommended.
Sport Coat may be thinned with up to 15% water if required.
Having masked all surrounding area not to be coated, apply two coats at a recommended coverage of 6-8m2 per litre, allowing the first coat to become touch dry before the second is applied.
